Adam first became interested in the environmental field while taking a hydrogeology class at UCONN. While learning the scientific aspects of the fate of contaminants in soil and groundwater, he also became interested in the engineering aspects of designing and implementing remedial strategies to improve the environment. This led to degrees in civil and environmental engineering and eventually his Professional Engineering license.
Today, Adam is the Manager of the Engineering Compliance Department at Fuss & O’Neill where his work primarily involves regulatory compliance. For his projects, Adam and his team evaluate the extent to which air, water, and waste regulations are met, investigating contaminated sites and designing plans for cleanup – efforts that ultimately better the environment.
