Re-issuance of DEP Commercial Stormwater General Permit

30 March, 2009
The Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) issued a tentative determination to issue without modifications the General Permit for the Discharge of Stormwater Associated with Commercial Activity (commercial general permit). The commercial general permit was issued on September 27, 2000 (2000 commercial general permit) and expired on August 1, 2005. The DEP is proposing to issue the 2000 commercial general permit without modifications to provide permit coverage for a period of five (5) years. Upon issuance of this permit and notification by the Commissioner, regulated activities will need to submit a new registration form and registration fee of $500.
