Fuss & O’Neill was contracted to provide Site/Civil Engineering Services for the New England Disaster Training Center (NECTC) in Granby and Windsor Locks Connecticut. Under this contract, thirteen individual projects will be completed for the Connecticut Army National Guard based on the approved NEDTC Master Plan. Under this Master Plan, the NEDTC site will undergo substantial infrastructure improvements and will see the construction of numerous new training, administrative and maintenance facilities as well as improvements to the existing Camp Hartell. Fuss & O’Neill’s Site/Civil services consist of field investigations, the design of stormwater and utility services and facilities, site layout and grading and the preparation of various supporting documents including stormwater management plans, calculations, and technical specifications.
Disaster training facilities include:
- Urban Search and Rescue Training Area
- Trench Training Area
- Hospital Training Pad
- Railroad Training Area
