Fuss & O’Neill conducts a broad range of training including:

Asbestos, Lead, and Airborne Chemical Exposures

Provides training on standard EPA asbestos and lead courses, OSHA courses for lead, asbestos, hazardous waste (HAZWOPER), and customized course development and training.

Basic and Advanced First Aid / CPR

Services include basic first-aid and CPR training following guidelines established by the AHA for on-site emergency response personnel as well as for rescue service personnel involved with permit-required confined space operations. We also conduct EMT and MRT initial and refresher training approved by the State of Connecticut OEMS by CT-certified EMS instructors.

Chemical, Spill, and Emergency Response

This course meets the requirements in OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 for eight hours of annual refresher training for workers at hazardous waste sites. This course is designed for general site workers who remove hazardous waste or who are exposed or potentially exposed to hazardous substances or health hazards.

DOT Hazardous Materials Packaging

Includes a review of the DOT’s regulations for shipping hazardous materials, proper shipping name, hazard classes, marking and labeling, shipping papers, packing groups and security. The course is designed to satisfy the annual training requirements for generators of hazardous waste.

Energized Electrical Safety (Arc Flash)

Services include Facility Risk Assessment Procedures, Personal Protective Equipment determination, Labeling, and Risk Reduction Measures.

Hazardous Waste Management

Provides an overview of hazardous waste management laws and regulations.

Machine-Specific Energy Control / Lockout Tagout

Provides site specific machine-specific energy control procedure development, qualified employee training, as well as annual auditing. Training is provided for authorized employees, affected employees, and other employees.

OSHA 10 & 30 Hour General Industry and Construction

Courses cover topics required by OSHA and elective topics are presented based on topics that pertain to the specific client.

Permit-Required Confined Space Operations

Services include assessment of confined spaces, equipment, hands-on skills demonstration and rescue operations. Training also includes methods for space classification and reclassification.

Powered Industrial Truck Operations

Offers site specific training course to qualify operators as well as trainers; involves hands-on training and evaluation of each student operating a Powered Industrial Truck.

Security Plans

Provides security plan training for offerers and transporters of hazardous materials to meet the training and program obligations established by DOT. F & O uses site-specific information as part of the program to illustrate key compliance areas.
