James Hugh Barringer. P.E. - Professional Biography

James Hugh Barringer is a Project Manager and Senior Environmental Engineer in the South Carolina office. With over fourteen years of experience, James Hugh assists clients in their efforts to achieve and maintain compliance with environmental laws and regulations at the local, state, and federal levels. Typical program areas for regulatory applicability and compliance projects include storm water pollution prevention, spill prevention, hazardous waste management, waste water reporting, hazardous material handling, toxic release reporting, and air quality permitting. Design projects include sediment & erosion control for land disturbing activities, soil/groundwater remediation, and waste water treatment. Outside the office, James Hugh actively participates in both professional and community organizations, being a past president of both the ASCE Midlands Branch and the Columbia Museum of Art's Contemporaries society.
