Auto Salvage-Recycling
Fuss & O'Neill, Inc. has a unique perspective and understanding of the auto salvage and recycling industry. We have been working with recyclers for over 20 years providing comprehensive and up-to-date environmental compliance assistance in the eastern United States. We have the knowledge and experience to assist any size facility demonstrate compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations including:

- Storage Tank (above and below ground) Management
Our office in Columbia, South Carolina works with auto recyclers and recycling facilities throughout the state to develop Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) and collect stormwater samples. We are a member of the South Carolina Recyclers and Dismantlers Association (SCRDA) and support their members.
In North Carolina, we were instrumental in working with several auto recyclers and the government to administer a grant for relocating several salvage yards outside of the floodplain in an agreement for a Conservation Easement. Fuss & O'Neill, Inc. supervised and conducted the closeout activities associated with the project within the terms of the Grant Agreement.
In Connecticut, Fuss & O’Neill was asked by the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection (CTDEP) to assist in developing the “Auto Recycling Industry Compliance Guide” based on our experience working with the auto recycling sector. We have provided environmental assistance and training to dozens of recycling faculties in the state.
