The Environmental Due Diligence Business Unit grew out of the recognition that our client’s need for environmental assessment and remedial services is often triggered by questions that arise during the transfer of properties and businesses. Whether our clients are those that are buying, selling, or financing potentially-contaminated properties, the common goals are to understand whether there are environmental conditions that could reduce a property’s value or be an impediment to future development.
We work closely with our clients to develop environmental solutions in the context of the proposed plan of development and the regulations that dictate the necessary level of investigation and remediation. Through an integrated approach that involves our site development team, our hazardous materials experts, and our regulatory specialists, we create innovative and cost-effective solutions that can be the difference between a successful project and one that never gets beyond the planning stage.
